Wai Ching's Bungalow

The split level bungalow has two bedrooms and bathrooms: the upper level has a bath and lower level has an outdoor cool shower as well as a hot shower. The air is fresh and cool, and no air conditioning is necessary. The kitchenette is equipped with essentials and beautiful hand-made ceramics from a local potter. A pottery studio (complete with kiln) is available for classes next to the bungalow. The garden yields salak, durian, oranges, sweet potato leaves, chili, gingers, as well as oyster mushrooms. Two fish ponds complete the grounds.

Housekeeping cleaning service from 10 to 1 pm. as well as laundry pick up and drop off. Light sewing service available. Fresh coconuts may be brought in and prepared for you. The staff of a husband and wife team Pak Agung and Ibu Jero will provide butler service to exchange money, buy prepaid phone credit, run simple errands or at hand for any assistance as required.

A choice of drivers will be available for rides into main Ubud and for visits to other parts of Bali. Motor bikes and bicycles are recommended for independent local transport. In-house Balinese massage services available with natural coconut and authentic aromatic essential oils. Several recommended spa services available to cater to your relaxation needs.

About Owner

Wai Ching, known as Pemangku Maha Jero Sandat in the Balinese community, enjoys all genres of dance, teaching Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Yoga to Contact Improvisation and Movement Therapy. Argentine Tango is her latest passion following her studies of Balinese dance.

Her profession as a Holistic Healer, and Therapist will introduce you to other dimensions of being. Enjoy personal or group sessions.
